After the initial process of sanding the wood flooring, we will then start to stain the floor in whichever colour you choose. This will add a wonderful depth and warmth to the floor and our experienced team will work alongside you to ensure that it looks exactly the way you want it to.

We have a variety of different colours and stains for you to choose from. They include:

• Oak – Light, medium and dark
• Teak – Light and dark
• Mahogany – Red and brown
• Pine
• Antique Pine

All of our stains can be inter-mixed for your desired colour and nothing is too difficult for our experienced team. Staining wooden floors is a question of personal choice and different types of woods take stain differently. That is why it is important to hire professional and helpful flooring specialists like us, as we can advise you on which colours and stains will work better with the floor you already have and the surrounding furniture.

Once the floor has been properly sanded, we will start the process of staining. We will apply the colouring to every floor block and once finished we are confident that you will see no difference between your floor and an authentic wood. Staining is the quickest way of adding some new colour to the room and is a great way of adding value to your home while looking completely different to anything you have had before.

All our stains and colours are hard-wearing, ensuring that you have a floor you can be proud of for many years to come. They are also fast drying and have a high opacity for fantastic depths of colour.

Obviously, as the word ‘staining’ suggests, it is a hazardous process and we would recommend to all our customers, whether domestic or commercial, that they use protection on the bottoms of their furniture just in case.
